What is the basis that DAISI uses your school’s personal data?
It is on the basis of contract (the processing is necessary for a contract we have with yourselves).
Who is the owner of the system?
The DAISI Service is part of Nottingham City Council (NCC) and the local authority is the owner of the systems upon which the data is processed and stored.
What security measures are in place to ensure safety of this information?
Nottingham City Council is a Public Service Network (PSN) accredited organisation. Click here for details of the PSN requirements and compliance process.

Where the information is stored, hard drives, cloud-base (and who owns the cloud that you use, and what measures you have taken to ensure this is secure)?
Data stored on NCC owned and operated, secure storage drives on the NCC computer network.
Is the information shared beyond anyone in your organisation and for what purposes?
No person identifiable data is shared beyond the DAISI Service. The reports that are sent back to your school contain personally identifiable data, and are sent to you in an encrypted form.
How long you keep information?
Information provided to us for the creation of Question Level Analysis (QLA) or ASaP reports from schools other than Nottingham schools will be held for up to 3 years.
Information provided to us for the creation of Data Packs from individual schools will be held for up to 6 years.
Where is the information stored?
Data is stored on NCC owned and operated, secure storage drives on the NCC computer network.
