How you can make a significant difference to your RAISEonline data

By now you will have downloaded your school’s RAISEonline report based on the unvalidated data, known as the “published data”. The published data does not include the results of late marking reviews or the outcome of amendments requested by schools during the annual performance tables checking exercise.

However, you might want to make changes to this data now. Maybe you want to correct some grades currently contained in the unvalidated data or remove certain pupils that could make a significant difference to the overall total of pupils making expected progress and would like additional analysis created quickly using this data set. DAISI can help you.

“Thanks for the very rapid turnaround. We are really impressed”. Tim Woodward, Head, Lew Trenchard Primary

Updating the data

RAISEonline allows you to create a dataset which differs from the published unvalidated data, and they call it the “School’s Own Data”. By creating this dataset, you can then produce RAISEonline reports using your updated data or a different cohort.

Our 15-minute video shows how you can create your “School’s Own Data” in RAISEonline. Topics include:

  • what credentials you need to alter the data,
  • how to search for specific pupils or filter on a particular characteristic,
  • how to remove pupils or change grades or characteristics,
  • how to save the changes, and
  • what credentials you need to use the data, and how to do it, and
  • how much difference this can make.

Now that you are able to create your “School’s Own Data”, what can you do with it?

Next Steps

You could view the analysis online, spend time working it all out and what it all means, decide which reports to print, create more notes to explain it to staff and governors, print it all out and file it with your RAISEonline report.

Alternatively, let us create you an illustrated 35-page School’s Own Data e-RAISE report saving you precious time and money with the added value of comparing your data with last year’s results and explaining your data in plain English.
