The DfE’s Analyse School Performance (ASP) service was launched in April 2017 and provides schools and local authorities with a range of analyses predominantly built around the DfE headline measures.

It is a key source of data from the Department for Education (DfE) and so used by School Improvement Advisers and OFSTED Inspectors to judge your school. It is important for headteachers that they are fully aware of what it says as this could drive the data conversations at a later date.

The release data varies from year to year depending on when the data is available. To aid schools, it is released twice – firstly with unvalidated data (usually Nov/Dec) and then again with the validated data (Jan/Feb).

How can I find the answers I need within the data?

Our ASaP Reports save you time by finding all the answers you need within your ASP Summary.

  • We provide clear performance statements of the main data
  • PLUS a full 3 page analysis of all your many cohort groups.
  • We also update your reports with the validated data.
  • No Data inputting necessary – just download the file from ASP and send it to us!
  • Forensic Analysis – returned direct to your Inbox within days.

What have Schools said about DAISI ASaP?

“Really analytical review of ASP – Exactly what I needed”

Stephen Down, Head Teacher, Bushmead School, Cambridgeshire

“Much appreciated. will save huge amounts of time and support Governor and SLT knowledge. So glad I purchased it!”

Jo Keely, Headteacher, Westglade Primary School

“Thanks for the very rapid turnaround. We are really impressed”.

Tim Woodward, Head, Lew Trenchard Primary

“Using the ASaP analysis with both staff and governors is so much more effective with the DAISI reports. The visual presentation makes it accessible to all, staff quickly assimilate the information they need to support their subject and school development plans. Whilst governors have the overview and detail they require to enable them to ask relevant, pertinent and searching questions with confidence and understanding.”

Karen O’Donnell, Head Teacher, Athelstan Community Primary School

“Many thanks again and can I say what fantastic reports I think these are and so helpful.”

Susan Ilett-Coupe, Head Teacher, Kneesall CofE Primary School, Nottinghamshire
