The DfE’s Analyse School Performance (ASP) service was launched in April 2017 and provides schools and local authorities with a range of analyses predominantly built around the DfE headline measures.

It is a key source of data from the Department for Education (DfE) and so used by School Improvement Advisers and OFSTED Inspectors to judge your school. It is important for headteachers that they are fully aware of what it says as this could drive the data conversations at a later date.

The release data varies from year to year depending on when the data is available. To aid schools, it is released twice – firstly with unvalidated data (usually Nov/Dec) and then again with the validated data (Jan/Feb).

How can I find the answers I need within the data?

Our ASaP Reports save you time by finding all the answers you need within your ASP Summary.

  • Time-Saving – Complete Analysis of all Cohort Groups.
  • Written Statements – for direct inclusion in your SEF.
  • No Data Inputting – Simply download and send the data.
  • Free Update – when the Validated Data is released

You can easily:

  • Use key analysis in your school development plan.
  • Incorporate key messages into the data section of your SEF.
  • Use to present data to Governors / Improvement Partners.
