Gain Valuable Insights to drive School Improvement
The KS2 SATs provide annual, detailed insights into student strengths and weaknesses, with results broken down by individual questions. These standardized, independently marked assessments offer valuable data for improving school performance. By analysing these results, you can identify strengths and areas needing attention, helping to refine teaching strategies and enhance overall student performance.
Our Question Level Analysis aggregates this assessment data by topics and cohorts, rather than individual answers, revealing patterns that can drive meaningful change across your school.
We don’t just give you numbers. We explain the results in plain English and show them through graphs and tables to make it accessible by all.
And it is proven to help.. 80% of schools who use our analysis consistently over three years have seen an increase in their attainment.
“Fantastic and so simple to use. In addition, it would have taken us an inordinate length of time to produce anything quite like it… Thank you! In Ofsted speak Outstanding Best Value!!!”

A Full Summary
A clear starting point – focussing in on the headlines and points for you to focus on as the deeper analysis continues. For example, did you know that 85% of the total possible marks usually come from a small number of topics?

Topic Insight
We divide up the questions into bespoke Topics. Deep Dive into each subject to see where teaching could be improved and implement changes to your curriculum. Even small changes can significantly improve school results.

Question Type
Is there one particular question type which is a problem to your pupils? Update your curriculum to include more practice and instruction in areas where pupils struggle or more challenge in areas where pupils excel.

Analysis of every Cohort
We break the results down into your various cohorts – gender, disadvantaged, SEN, EAL and more. Focus on different cohorts across your school to find areas where you can make changes that could make a substantial difference.

Individual Pupil Profiles
Our pupil profiles allow you to see where marks were lost and gained and provide detailed evidence to guide your search for improvements across the school.

What can you do with the Results?
Analysing your KS2 SATs results can provide several valuable insights:
- Identify Strengths and Weaknesses: Determine which subjects or topics students excel in and where they struggle. For example, if many students perform well in reading but poorly in math, you can focus on improving math instruction.
- Teaching Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of teaching methods. Consistent gaps across a cohort may indicate areas where teaching strategies need adjustment.
- Targeted Interventions: Develop targeted interventions for students or cohorts who need additional support. The Individual pupil profiles can highlight specific areas for improvement, allowing for personalized learning plans.
- Curriculum Adjustments: Make informed decisions about curriculum changes. If certain topics are consistently problematic, you can adjust the curriculum to address these issues.
- Professional Development: Identify areas where teachers may need additional training or resources to improve their teaching strategies.
By leveraging these insights, you can refine your teaching approaches and enhance overall student performance.
“The diagnostic information enabled us to identify specific strengths and weaknesses and flag up key pupil cohort achievement. As a result, leaders are adapting the taught curriculum to ensure any gaps in knowledge are being effectively addressed. I would recommend DAISI analysis to anybody who really wants to understand what their assessment information is truly telling them.”

What have Schools Said about QLA Results?
“In my role as deputy headteacher of a big school as well as assessment coordinator, there is no way I have the time or capacity to complete QLA to the level & in the detail that the DAISI team do. They save me days of work & the information this gives me allows us to develop whole school targets that we can show improve the attainment of our pupils.“
Deputy Headteacher, Seely Primary & Nursery School, Nottingham
“DAISI SATs QLA is a wonderful product. It has not only saved me a lot of time but is clear and easy to understand. It is a resource I will share with our governors. I have also recommended it to other headteachers.”
Headteacher, The Butterwick Pinchbeck’s Endowed CofE Primary School
“After showing our Executive Headteacher the quality of the analysis you have provided, she has asked me to let you know how impressed we are with the analysis, including the speed we received it. We really appreciate the program you have developed to do this for our benefit. We could never have achieved the same depth of analysis with the equivalent cost of staff time.“
Assistant Headteacher, Gleadless Primary School, Sheffield
“These reports are so thorough and useful. Subject leaders and Raising Standards Leaders in each primary school are going to be able to use this information to inform teaching and learning opportunities , not just in Year 6, but across the school. Some of the graphs used were new to me – it’s always good to be challenged by information presented in a different way!“
Headteacher, Ravensthorpe Primary School (Peterborough Keys Trust)
“I think they are a great tool and really help us to analyse our data in great detail. I have been telling everyone how good they are & how they have saved hours of work. This has allowed me to focus on how we can improve teaching and learning rather than spending time on the data analysis – a very welcome change.”
Headteacher, Captain Cook Primary School, Middlesbrough (James Cook Learning Trust)
